Did you know that there are over 200 food-related businesses in Rhode Island that were established and run by Armenians, beginning with the first immigrants to the state to the present day?

The Armenian Historical Association of Rhode Island is pleased to invite you to our museum to explore this rich piece of history that is still thriving and evolving. This exhibit is the first installment of this series - Establishing Roots* Enriching Rhode Island - highlighting the vibrancy of the Armenian community and the contributions made to our state.

AHARI now has a YouTube page!

Do you have a story to tell?

Join us in our efforts to preserve the story of Rhode Island Armenians by gathering photos and letters and filming oral histories.

Please email us at info@armenianhistorical-ri.org or call us at (401) 454-5111 to schedule your appointment to film your oral history (appointments required).

You can also email us for a link to examples of our filmed oral histories.
